That's where mine is and in a most inconvenient position. If it hadn't been pointed out to me I probably never would have noticed it tucked in next to the electric tongue jack.

I know this because I spent the day replacing it with a dual battery switch and added a second battery. A little tight but managed to get them both in on the tray. I just had to cut off the handles of the boxes where they touched in the center.

Have you ever wondered if people at the factory go out of their way to mount things in very difficult places just to mess with the end user?

Behind and under the propane tanks ! There it is alright. Thanks so much, I thought I had looked everywhere. Seems my dual 12volt batteries drain in a day or two and I need that switch to save them.

Might need bigger batteries if your trying to run off the grid. I have a 2017 microlite 21DS and modded it to have 4 6v golf car batteries which provide 430ah of capacity. The house batteries I got from the dealer were some cheapie 45ah marine batteries. With my new setup I can run the whole trailer minus a/c and microwave, with propane and the battery bank for more than 7 days. That includes running the TV off inverter power in the evenings.

It may be because owners complained about previous locations or they didn't want it in an obvious place to be messed with.
