We have the 2013 version of your trailer. They have made quite a few changes in 7 years.

Alright! Me too

I just picked up a 2019 Micro 21DS also. I haven't done much with it yet except work everything in the Driveway. Can't mess with the awning yet because I don't have the room to put it out. I'll be asking a lot of questions here on the forum--I'm somewhat new to RV ing.
I'm having trouble with the water pump.
I can't figure out the water pump completely. When using my fresh tank while plugged up to power, my pump doesn't seem to catch up with the faucet use. I've been bleeding the air out of the lines but when I look at the clear water-filter inside the rv it fills to top and then and empties and then fills again. all the while the faucet is working but also spitting air. The pump never shuts completely off when the faucets are closed. It keeps a very low hum with the switch on-- is that normal?

Try hooking your water system to your garden hose, make sure the hot water heater gets filled, and run the faucets until they stop sputtering. Then disconnect the hose and try running the water from the fresh water tank again.

water pump

Thanks Jay. I have run the garden hose through the system and hot water heater. Everything works fine when I'm hooked up to city water. It seems as if I'm losing my prime when using the 12 volt pump. The system is brand new.

Is there a valve near your water filter to divert water to come from the fresh water tank? Perhaps that is turned the wrong way? Other than that, it could be the pump. They have been known to fail or be defective.

I've checked my valves and they are in the right position. I've gotten it to work only when my fresh tank is showing 2/3 to full. When it shows 1/3 my pump seems to be pumping water and air. I see the air coming through my on board filter. Maybe my gauges need calibrating or my intake hose from the tank to the water pump is sucking in air also when the tank gets below 1/2 or 1/3. Any suggestions. Anyone know how to calibrate the fresh water tank sensors?

I have solved my issue. It was the calibrations with the pressure in the switch and by-pass in my SHURFLOW 4008 PUMP.
Took me a lot of time to figure that out. No leaks or valve problems!

Thanks for the ideas and help.

Can you share a little more detail? What exactly is there to calibrate with the Shurflow pump? My pump has nothing but intake, outtake and wires.

there are small adjustment screws on the black end of the pump. It will be hard to see them unless you are looking straight into the end of pump. they take a 5/64 allen wrench. the switch adjustment is in the middle and the by-pass adjustment is a little lower left if you are looking at the end of pump

this link shows a picture of the pump and the adjustment screws

Dinette

We are considering purchasing a 2020 Flagstaff 21 DS. Can you please tell me the dimensions of the bed when the dinette table is down?

Ours (2013 21DS) is 48" x 82". Not sure if that dimension has changed in 7 years.
