2021 25FKS Grey Tank Drain Question

OK, quick question. We just purchased our 25FKS and it has two grey water tanks and two drains. Does the front tank have to be drained separately? Didn’t occur to me to ask on the walk-through.
Thanks!

I can't think of any other way to drain it.

Yes, you have to drain it separately. The front tank is for the kitchen sink, the other one is for the bathroom.

X2 and your total gray capicity listed is both tanks, so your shower will fill quick

I just got the 25FKBS which has the same setup, 2 grey tanks. I have a question in with Forest River on the size of the two tanks as I can only find the total capacity, not the individual capacity. Will post back here when they get back to me if you want to know.

I just heard back from Forest River and both grey tanks are 30 gallons each for a total of 60 gallons.

Yeah, wasn’t sure if they were plumbed together and the front could be drained on its own if needed. Guess it’s time to get a “Y” connector.

Does your 25FKS tow OK? The reason I ask is even with a sway hitch, when there’s a breeze or a car passing, it’s all over the place. This is our 4th camper and I’ve never had any of them sway this bad. The hitch was set up by pros and I tow with an F150. Just wanted to see if it’s just me, or if this model was inherently unstable.
Thanks!

I tow a similar length and weight TT with my F150 and I have no issues. The truck has the Max Tow package and 1828lbs of payload. I use a 4 point Equal-i-zer WDH also.

What's the specs on your F150 and what WDH are you using?

Mine is very stable. I have the fastway WDH, towing with a 2005 4Runner.
It tows much better than I expected. I am only using the 4Runner because my Tundra got totaled. Waiting until prices settle down to buy another truck.
I have towed mostly on the highway, and though I am getting close to the max for the 4runner, never had an issue so far. No sway to speak of. Sounds like you have may have light hitch weight.
I would weigh everything at a public scale. You want at least 10%.

My 25FKBS is great under 65 but does sway some over that. But I don’t have it weighted properly yet. My fridge died and so my food is in the truck. I did go over the truck scales at a gas station but due to miscommunication with the scale operator I didn’t get the weight of the truck and trailer with the weight distribution bars unhooked to get the true tongue weight. My belief is this trailer is a little harder to balance properly.
