Also changed out the t-stat to a digital and fitted oxygenics shower head. Big difference in water consumption and pressure at a lower flow. Also fabricated awning poles and brackets from scratch. Check cord tension on day/night shade in the back. If you can just about play a tune on the cord.. they are probably too tight. We have had to replace ours. There is a You tube video on cord replacement. you'll see why

What a/c unit thermostat did you use
Id like to upgrade my tstat

Coleman Mach 8330-3862 Air Conditioner Thermostat Single Stage Heat/Cool Digital, Black from RVUpgrades.com. 6 wire nuts and a little electrical tape and 10 minutes and you are in business. Gives room temp and set point.

We have the Rockwood 2608ws 2017 model with the front kitchen and rear bedroom. The layout works awesome for us and we opted for the free standing dining set up since it's usually just the two of us. The rounded shower was a great improvement and having the bathroom span the entire 8 feet of the trailer is very functional with no wasted hallway space. Tows great behind our f150 Ecoboost max tow package. We usually camp 30 to 40 nights a season mostly in the Adirondacks in NY.

I have the Rockwood version 2703WS and have had it for a year. The only semi major thing to go wrong was the rear stabilizer jacks stopped and had to be replaced. Aside from that it has been great. We love it!

We have a 2017 Flagstaff 26RLWS and love it. We would definitely buy it again, love the big back window especially when we have a site on the water. We moved our table and chairs to the back and moved the rocker chairs to the slide. So much nicer seeing the water while we're eating. We also moved the couch to where the table was works better for us.

We are on our third Forrest River. our current one is the 2015 27rwls. We love it. It has been Cross country twice from Idaho to Midwest.

Same trailer here, about the same length of time. First trip stripped the top hinge in the bathroom med. cab. Probably over tightened at the factory....easy fix with a little gorilla glue and screwed it back in.

Just got back last month from an 1800 mile run. Halfway through I had a small water leak from a loose fitting on the water pump. Shut off the water, unscrewed and rescrewed the fitting and fixed that. The blinds / valence in the hallway went (probably due to the road I was on...it sucked). Got some new hardware and reinstalled...fixed that.

Overall...just minor problems caused by bouncing a trailer down the road. Nothing major at all. I'd buy it again.

Did do it again! Flash flood in yard in April put 8" of rain water in 2015 Flagstaff 27rlws. Insurance pd off balance of $23,000.00 & gave us an additional $9,000.00! We loved it so much that we knew we wanted another same model. Camping world is less than 45 miles so started looking there. They don't carry Flagstaff but do have Rockwood. So we purchased a 2017 Rockwood twin model to Flagstaff. Probably biggest change was vinyl dinette rather than cloth in Flagstaff. Don't care for that change at all! So YES, we loved our 2015 27rlws enough to do it again!

Bought our 27rlws 2 weeks ago, camped in it last weekend. Absolutely no buyers remorse! Love it!

We purchased a lightly used 2014 26fkws a little over a month ago and have loved it on the 3 wknd trips we have been on, the only thing i would have preferred is the dinette instead of the table and chairs.

+1 on the dinette. We have usually 3 grandkids staying with us, and the dinette adds another bed that we desperately need. Also the dinette adds a pile more storage to the trailer, though not as comfortable for TV watching.
