8528RKWS Bedroom TV

We just purchased a used 8528RKWS and want to put a TV mount in our bedroom. Does anyone know the size of the plate in the wall? Would a vertical single stud mount work of should I have a square mounting plate?
Any help would be very helpful.
Thanks
Wayne

I'm guessing, that if it's the spot that's marked for TV mount install, that's it's similar to our 8281WS fifth wheel.
I installed a MorRyde locking tv swivel arm mount with no problem. Just from tapping on the wall I could tell that the mounting block was about twice the size of the tv mount base.
I believe it's just a single piece of wood or fibreboard behind there.
I used the lag screws provided with the mount for securing to wood frame, after making sure they weren't too long, and thus wouldn't penetrate the wall on the other side.
If you need a mount recommendation then I used the smaller MorRyde rv mount (I can look up the part number if you want) with a 100x100 mount pattern that locks into place, but there is an adapter available for it for larger mounting pattern TVs

Morryde Wall mount

You are correct that is the location. I am putting up 19 in TV. I have looked at Morryde (a great company buy the way) and they have so many wall mounts if you know a part number that works that would be very helpful.
Thanks

Thus is the one I have: -http://www.morryde.com/products/69-small-extending-swivel-wall-mount?return=%2Fproduct-category%2F1-tv-mounts
The TV1-025H

It's a little pricey but I'm very happy with it.
It locks into retracted position, with a sprung latch, which is essential for camper usage.

If you need a bigger mounting pattern for the back of your tv (very unlikely with a 19" tv) they do make an adapter plate, or some bigger TV mounts.

We have a 22" TV/DVD combo mounted on there, and are thinking of possibly getting a 32" (most of which would need the adapter for larger mounting pattern) for next year if we see something good in cyber-Monday sales.

I bought it from Amazon, since with "free" prime delivery it worked out cheaper than alternatives, but you might be lucky at finding it cheaper elsewhere

Here are a couple of photos of the bracket from my misc mods album: -

TV Mount

You should be able to tap on the wall to find the backer. Then push with your fingers to see where it is more flexible.

We recently installed a Master Mounts arm mount that locks into place. This takes at TV size from 19" to 32". I also routed the cables and 12 volt power source inside the wall for a clean look. The wires were attached to the mount to articulate with the arms. This mount has a tilt feature that allows you to remove the TV easily without having to remove the mounting plate. We remove the TVs for winter storage.
