A/C question

Hello,

I have a 2020 Flagstaff E-pro 15TB. Living on the west side of the Cascades, I have not used the AC other than to turn it on for a few minutes each season. I am soon headed to Idaho and temps are high 90s right now. So, I thought it was a good time to familiarize myself with the AC.

I've read the little booklet and cannot figure out where there are two selections on the knob that say LOW FAN. There is also HIGH FAN, LOW COOL and HIGH COOL. The booklet shows the two LOW FAN settings. Is this for an option I do not have, such as heat/cool, aka Elect-A-Heat (referred to in the booklet)?

The unit is an AIRXCEL 47000 series.

Just curious if anyone knows the answer.

Thanks,
Liz

It's because there is no heat strip installed. If there was a heat strip then one of the low fan settings would become heat.

Moved thread to the Flagstaff sub-forum for better help from other Epro owners.
