Add fireplace.

We have a 2017 27rlws Flagstaff. We want to add fireplace. Cabinet under tv is where it would have been. We know subwoofer is behind wall in back of cabinet. Could it have been prewired for fireplace? And what fireplace model would fit. Thanks.

I do not know the make of the fireplace, but I do know that "some" are pre-wired for fireplaces. The fireplaces have a dedicated breaker and outlet. Easy way to check is take a look at your service panel.

We don't have your model but our 8509IKBS doesn't have the fireplace under the tv cabinet (it could have) and ours has no wiring whatsoever for the fireplace. I've had that cabinet apart for other mods.

We also do not have your model.
I removed the doors and shelves from the cabinet under the TV. I left the "structural" part of the cabinet so I could nail the new "brick paneling" to it.
These Fireplaces come with a regular plug in 120 volt cord, I routed the cord up to the same outlet the TV is plugged into. It's been working great for three years.
Here's the fireplace I installed, 28.5" wide.

I added my own fireplace afterwards, and powered it from the TV outlet also. However, it’s not as professional in appearance as cboss. His installation is gorgeous.

Maybe he makes house calls?

Edit: my fire is slightly off center also, because of FR wiring and equipment immediately to the left of where I installed the fireplace.

Kind of like what I did to my V. I plumbed in an outlet for it. The adjacent cabinet door contained a sub woofer and a typical FR wiring rat's nestClick image for larger version
