Cabinet Hinge Pins

Anyone have their cabinet hinge pins fall out? I have had several of the bottom ones fall out. I cannot figure out how to reinstall them. Any ideas?

Do they not simply slide in from the top? If not, perhaps the hinge was designed to be placed on the other side (left side design installed on the right). If the pin won't slide in you could try drilling out the top enough to allow the pin to drop in.

The top pin is still in. The bottom pin worked out. It is threaded but there is no mechanism to turn the head of the pin to reinstall. The pin picture is not clear. I will try to get a better shot.
