Calling All 831BHDS members

I own a new 2014, who else has one??

As of today I have three minor challenges all warranty covered.

1. Oven fan light dead
2. Pull out stove outside hinges broke off.
3. Toilet bowl leak.

Everything else is perfect#

I've got a 2014 also. I bought it 9 months ago. As of right now the only problem I've had is a right rear blowout. Other than that I love it.

Yep. I've bought filters for it at Home Depot. The filter is kind of in a strange place in the bunk house in the bottom right cabinet with a screwed down door. Does anybody know where the water heater bypass valve is for winterizing?

Sounds similar to mine, yes the filter is behind a screwed in door at the rear in bunk house. If same as 2011 the bypass is in a tough to reach spot also. If your tank is somewhat under the kitchen sink next to the oven what I need to do is pull the bottom draw out under sink and you should see the shut off valves under the cabinet to the right. Follow your in and out lines to hot water tank and you should be able to tell which one is the bypass. The drawer just in case your are not familier with how to remove. Clips on each side lift plastic release up and the other down, if that does not work reverse it will slide out easy. hope this helps

Thanks. I'm going to try to locate all that this weekend. We don't have really cold weather in South Texas but I would like to know where everything is.

That is it and looks good for daily operation. Bottom (blue) is cold flowing into tank (handle direction in line with water line = open) and the top (red) is hot water flowing out of tank and through-out trailer. The handle on the vertical water line is the bypass. In that position it is shut. For winterizing or stopping water (plumbing antifreeze) from entering hot water tank you would open the vertical line (handle same direction as water line) and close the other two. hope this helps

Something kind of funny on mine is the lock on the storage under the living room slide uses a different key than every other outside storage lock.

The KW1 is not the same as you get at HD, Lowes etc. and not interchangeable with any model at those locals. I think the KW1 canister is the one a lot of people are having difficulty with (unscrewing by itself etc.) and remove it with a bypass and just use an external inline hose filter. There are no issues with the whole house filter type you have.

I have the KW1 and i twisted the canister on and off with no tool. Quite easy to do and it seems like it locks tight too.

I installed a Combo cam today. 7/8 is the correct size. Use the curved bracket for a perfect fit. I have the cover coming tomorrow, but at least I got the key one out, given my key broke off. See pics below

Hmm that combi is a pretty good idea. I have a dual battery setup with a 5 watt panel. I Had to build a tray for it but it turned out pretty good. I'll take some pics this weekend.

Has anyone figured out a way to stop the stabilizer jack system from sliding side to side when extended?

What do you mean by side to side? I have some movement in the floor when the stab jacks are down but I am going to try locking wheel chicks to see if that helps.
