Do I need to winterize?

I just de winterized my RV without realizing that the winter isn’t over in WA. next week will be freezing at night. what do i do to prevent damage since i cant winterize again. Not sure how long it take with the temp to damage my water line. I only have this trailer not over a year and it is my very first trailer. I am sorry if this question sounds dumb.

Having just moved out of Camano Island, you don't need to worry. It's not hard freezes.
I just blew out the water lines and poured antifreeze in the p-traps and toilet.

Do you own an air compressor? If so, go to Walmart and get one of these:

I also deleted your duplicate post in the General Community Discussion section.

I do not own air compressor. Is there anyway to survive this week without having to blowout the water line

Yes, by pumping RV antifreeze through the lines.
A new air compressor less than $40, at Harbor Freight.
None of those temps are anywhere near a hard freeze. But blowing out the lines with air, takes a total of 5 minutes.

Right now antifreeze is cheap.

Three bottles are more than enough.

Takes less than a half hour. Getting valves correct is the hard part.

If there is a hard freeze it might be bad.

Doing it with air is easier.

Compressor or antifreeze. Either will be less expensive and less hassle than freeze damage. Low 20's is a real concern

You could always turn the furnace on which will keep all the lines in the camper warm.

If you cant blow out the lines or put antifreeze in, next best thing would be to open your low point point drain lines and open all your spigots and leave them open to drain as much water out of the lines and spigot as possible. Besides the sinks, don’t forget your outside shower, inside shower and toilet as well.

X2.
The low point drains are blue and red pipes next to each other. Leaving the faucets open will give the leftover water room to expand and hopefully not burst a pipe. Putting some antifreeze down the toilet, the sink and the shower will also help.

Most tire inflators (which are handy to have) will also function as an air compressor with an adapter. Pick up one of these for next year. It has the adaptor and hose for rv antifreeze (all you need is a bucket and antifreeze) and an air compressor fitting. https://www.amazon.com/Trailer-CONVE...s%2C140&sr=8-7

You don't have to pay a dealer to winterize it. It does help to have a second person who can shut off faucets when the antifreeze starts to come through and a knowledge of how to bypass the hot water heater. You winterize through the water hookup to the campground so that you don't get water in the fresh water tank.

Keep warm.

Not necessarily. Many trailers don't have an enclosed underbelly.
My previous trailer didn’t. All the water lines and tanks were exposed.

A few things to add here that I forgot to mention.

If you have a hot water heater I would recommend you take the anode out and leave it out.

You also want to try and run your fresh water pump dry so it doesn't freeze. If it's in a area that you can get to, you could remove the hose clamps on both ends of the pump and let the water drain out that way and leave them disconnected as well...

I you have a space heater and can pug in, it probably won't hurt to open all your under sink cabinets and run it in your trailer during those days with overnight lows.

Not sure I understand this requirement. Here is the one-person sequence I follow.
  • Disconnect from city water.
  • Bypass and drain water heater.
  • Dip tubing at water pump into open antifreeze jug.
  • Turn valve on water pump so it draws from antifreeze jug.
  • Turn water pump on.
  • Turn on cold tap closest to water pump. Run until pink comes out. Turn off.
  • Turn on associated hot tap, run until pink, turn off. (This will take longer, since water has to flow by the water heater and back to the tap.)
  • Same at next sink/shower, toilet/outside shower/etc. until all fixtures have run.
  • Check between each tap to see if you need to move to a second antifreeze jug.
  • Turn water pump off.
This works fine with just one person.

Sure it *can* be done with one person. A second person just makes it easier. Especially with the step: "Check between each tap to see if you need to move to a second antifreeze jug."

If you have someone outside monitoring the jug it would save you having to go out and check it multiple times.

Or…….just put it in a much bigger supply jug than you’ll need.

You can put the excess back in a more manageable jug afterwards.

Often times, that's what I do.
Mine takes 3 gallons total.
I put all three in a bucket and pump out of there.
What's left, I pour down the traps and toilet. Nothing to manage during or afterwards.

To the OP... open your low point drains and drain as much water as you can.
Run your furnace for a few days set to a low temperature and you should be fine with the temperatures you posted. If it makes you more comfortable, open the cupboard doors anywhere there might be water lines. (ie: kitchen sink/bathroom)

Things do not freeze solid the moment it gets to 32º. It takes at least 24 hours for the 'mass' of your R/V to reach the point where things could freeze enough to bust something.

With your temperatures rising during the day to well above freezing, you really should not have issues even if you didn't drain or winterize.
