Yeah think he was taken, I paid $140 cash for a replacement in my 2011 GMC 3/4ton. More common the vehicle cheaper it should be, bet there are more 2010 F150’s then all Rav 4’s ever made..

I paid $110 and free shipping for the tinted windshield for my 1962 Falcon, brand new and only a couple years ago.

Just for the heck of it since the link to Safelite was expired I just browsed their site....
A windshield replacement- cash- no insurance for a 2010 F150 Crew cab not platinum, not ford logo on the glass is $349.
Gotta wonder how it got all the way up to $1200?
See post #29.
I'm gonna guess the huge difference in this case was Safelite vs Ford dealer.

Libby-Owens Ford was the glass. Haven't looked at a brand stamp on a window since I built my coup.

I don't really drive 80.. I was being sarcastic and just making a point. It would be nice to have a cheap easy cover, but like I stated.. the glass is HUGE.. and curved both ways.. I'm not sure how a flimsy piece of plexi is going to stay on with just velcro without ripping off.. then theres the part of putting it on, taking it off, and storing something that large. I've also seen people run for years with cracked windshields and never had an issue.. I just feel like people assume it's going to explode and ruin a trip.. the chances of that are not likely IMO.

I'm guessing maybe this one from the LLumar website mentioned in the screenshot?
