Of the probably 12-15 Model 300 reseal posts I've seen across various forums, I only recall 1-2 that worked and stuck.
If you replace it with a 320, make sure you have clearance as the 320 is different in dimensions. (and the 310 is slightly different too) Those dimensions are on Dometic's web page in the manual for the 300 series toilets.
