E-Pro 19fd door problem.

I brought home my new E-Pro yesterday and couldn't get the door open. Finally had to lean on the door at the latch while a friend pulled the handle. Looks like a couple problems; 1: the door isn't installed/aligned properly, and/or 2: the steps aren't installed/aligned correctly, or, 3: both. Any E-Pro owners out there with this trouble? Thanks.

was the E-Pro level and the stabilizer jacks out?

I often find when trying to access the trailer while on the road that the door is difficult and once was impossible to open... really thought I had a probelm until l I got to the campground and leveled and stabilized then the door was easy to open.

Thanks for the reply. Its sitting level in my driveway. I can see that the door is pushed out more at the bottom, by about 1/2 inch, than at the top. Taking it back to CW tomorrow to have it checked out. How do you like yours so far?

Both exterior doors were
stuck tight on my new Coachmen. When finally muscled them open, loaded the latches w/WD40, worked it in, and all was well.

My Surveyor had a similar problem. it became very difficult to open the latch on the door. I found that if I pressed the door edge with my left hand , the latch opened easy. It must be catching on something on the door frame.

We have the same model E Pro 19FD. We've had a few glitches since we purchased ours. (Stove - pinched gas line and Leak around solar panel port).

I know that this may not help much, but our door lines up well no matter whether or not the jacks are down or the trailer is level or not. It is a little hard to close /latch, but that seems to be a bolt and latch issue that needs some lubrication, etc.

Update on E-Pro 19 door

I figured out the problem was the steps weren't positioned correctly. My mistake was taking it back to CW for warranty repair - 30 days and still waiting for an update.
