E-Pro/Geo Pro Counter Extension (need help for 19FD owner

The kitchen in our E Pro E20FBS doesn't have nearly enough counter space. While looking through pictures I noticed that the 19FD model has a countertop extension.

Could someone with a recent model (with the white "solid surface" countertop) please take measurements of their extension for me? I want to make sure it'll fit in the space I have in mind before I get a dealership to order one. I know I could use any piece of appropriately sized wood, cutting board, or whatever, but I'd really like it to match.

Thanks.

The extension is 15 x 15 inches. It is a great item to help with the limited counter space, in fact if I was custom making it, I would make it bigger... It does have good braces that lock into place - nice and solid. They might be hard to find.

I took 3 pictures, one of the braces, but they upload upside down on this site... If you PM me your email , I can send them...

Aha, I guess you never cheated in school! Most of us can view things upside down quite easily. Go ahead and post the photos.

Excellent, thank you Kean!

Upside down photos are fine, but if you email them to me at my username at gmail I’ll rotate and post them for you.

The size matters to me as the end of the counter where I’d attach it is next tot the entry door, and the cabinet side has the light switch panel on it. It’s fine if it blocks some of the entry, but I need to make sure it won’t cover the switch panel.

I’ll actually not be using the brackets that Forest River uses as I’ve heard of those cracking. I’m going to order the below brackets that are the same style my Airstream used for its countertop extension.

Hmm, that may be too deep to fit my spot. I may end up having to make an extension piece myself. I was really hoping for a factory look, but it'll probably be cheaper creating it on my own anyway.

No need to do any sink changes, 2021 and newer have the square sink from the factory. I am going to replace the faucet though. Even though it came with a "real" kitchen faucet we prefer one with a sprayer built in.

upside down pictures.

My wife is left handed. All of the horizontal pictures she takes are upside down when downloaded to my computer. When you turn your phone to the right, the camera is upside down.

The short answer is: With a smartphone camera, always take pictures with the button on the right. Not left, top or bottom. Only the right.

I've posted the technical reason for this previously.

At least she takes photos in landscape orientation, not the portrait orientation you always see ignoramuses holding their phone.
