Eternabond

On a motorhome that I had, I placed Eternabond on the roof edge seams.
On the motorhome the rubber roof met an aluminum strip which made a nice flat surface. On my new trailer I wanted to place Eternabond on the roof seams.
But it is not flat. The rubber roof edge comes to the edge and folds downward about an inch before it hits the small rain gutter seam. I wonder if Eternabond will work in this application. An inch is not much to work with. Has anyone used Eternabond on a folding roof edge? The other problem is that the new trailer roof is a light brown color.
I think I might have enough Eternabond in stock but it is white. Because the roof folds down, the white against the brown may not look so good. I really like the Eternabond. No more roof caulking.
