FR 5th Wheel Dinette

We just bought our first RV a 28' Flagstaff with bunks. We went to covert the U shape dinette into a bed but could not figure out how to make it work. we lowered the table then tried to put the crushing's in place but no matter how we laid them out they were either too long on one end or big gaps in the middle anybody have any photos? Thanks

Check with your dealer but I have read that there is suppose to be foam inserts that go between the cushions to fill the gaps.

We bought the 5th wheel used and there's no paper work whatsoever still trying to find the dinette cushion layout

Just an idea for you. Measure the area, and get an air mattress to go on top. Much more comfortable, anyway. My guess is it is double bed size. If only one person, a twin-size mattress should fit.

On our Flagstaff TT is seemed to work best to pull the back bottom cushion forward to the edge of the table, then use the three different back cushions in the open space at the back. When you put the two smaller back cushions side by side they were slightly longer than the opening, but would fit if they got squished. It was a lousy bed though with the cushions constantly shifting, so we'd use the jacknife sofa whenever we needed an extra bed instead.

I agree.

Even if the OP can make the cushions work, they're really uncomfortable. Our guests always preferred an air bed on the dinette vs. trying to sleep on separate cushions.
