I think that the utility of a front window depends entirely on your floor plan. Our 21DS has a front Murphy bed. During the day, when one would normally want to look out through the window, the bed is stowed and the window is completely blocked. At night, when the bed is down, the shade is closed because nobody needs to see me wandering around in my jammies.
So, for our model, they could have left the window off and we wouldn't miss it at all.
It does look nice from the outside, I guess.
