GeoPro to MicroLite!
Our very much loved GeoPro G20BHS served us well for two great, adventurous summers. We all loved that trailer so much, but as we found ourselves wanting to spend more and more time camping, we soon came to the realization that a larger trailer would suit us better.
As there is no GeoPro/EPro larger than the 20BHS, we decided the MiniLite/MicroLite was the most appropriate step up. Last week we traded in the GeoPro for a new 2022 Flagstaff MicroLite 25BRDS!
Our only four concerns with the GeoPro have been resolved. Those were that the wife and I were tired of the east/west bed, the kids wanted larger bunks, I wanted a bit of counterspace (at least enough for the coffee pot), and we wanted some additional indoor seating.
It (barely) fits in the carport, thank goodness! We absolutely love it so far! It needs to go in for a few teething/warranty issues, but overall it's pretty solid. We're super excited! We'll do a driveway campout this weekend, and a shakedown trip in late October.
It's noticeably larger to tow and park but not terribly so (even the GeoPro felt large at times). I'm sure I'll get used to it.
My only real complaint is that I wish the gray water tank was larger than 30 gallons, but it is what it is.
Here are some pictures!

Oh, she is beautiful! Also, fantastic place to park it, wow. If I could fit 26’, that’s the one I would get for sure.
I just got a Flagstaff too (21DS) and I am very impressed, how has your initial quality been?
I have to replace all my storage doors as they tightened the latches too much and warped the doors (not a big deal). And there was some sealant missing behind the wifi ranger.

Congratulations on your new MicroLite!
Judging by your pictures barely fit is an accurate description of your parking spot in the carport.

Congrats! We really like our Microlite 21ds. Had it a few years now. Modified it for boondocking. The only thing I have left is to replace the freshwater tank as it is not boondock worthy. Otherwise, we are very happy.

Thanks! And congrats on yours! I see you also got it at Apache.
Initial quality has been good but not flawless like the GeoPro was. I had a kitchen sink leak, a flat tire, and a couple of adjustments that needed to be made. The cold water on the spray port doesn't work, but I'll tackle that one in the spring as I've winterized it.
Otherwise it seems to be doing well. We took it out for a shakedown trip in October and it was fantastic. So much more room!

Excellent! And thank you!
How big is your freshwater tank? Mine is 54 gallons but we are typically at hook up sites. If I were to complain about tank space, it would be the gray tank at 30 gallons. We are careful and I still have to empty it with a portable tank when we are out camping.

Freshwater tank is the same size as yours at 48 gallons. Unfortunately, Forest River counts the 6 gallons in your hot water heater as additional freshwater capacity for a total of 54 gallons.
We manage 5 to 7 days before needing to drain gray and blackwater tanks.

As do all RV manufacturers, not just FR.

Makes sense to me, as it’s still fresh water. I usually only travel with a full hot water heater and about 5 gallons down in the fresh tank for potty stops and hand washing.

Yeah. Since my wife and I boondock 98% of the time away from people, we travel with a full tank. Unfortunately, the OEM tank is so thin that it not only bends the angle iron supports when it's full but the tank hangs below the supports like a pregnant guppy.
The good news is I found a tank made by Recpro that has 1/4" thick walls. The only downside is I lose 10 gallons of water carrying capacity because I chose a tank height that would allow me to put a 3/4 inch piece of plywood under the tank so that is properly supported.
A fair trade given that I will never have to worry about my tank falling out or rupturing while boondocking.
