It’s official (new Flagstaff owner)
So we have traded in our 30’ Riverside Mt McKinley for the Flaffstaff E19FD. I’m picking it up on Tuesday mid morning and so look forward to not overloading this one like the other was. I weighed all the balance boards and beams for stability and we have been carrying over 120 in the RV. That’s stopping immediately.
Happy to be part of their group and look forward to many years of enjoyment.

Oh my! Are you downsizing from a 30' to a 19' or am I looking at the wrong model? Personally, I like the smaller rigs. We traveled the country in a 19' tt and had a ball.
Welcome to the forum from Texas!

That’s correct, we bought a 30’ purely because it had what we felt we anted and needed, and slowly in the last 18 months, realized for us, it’s not always what we want, but rather what is needed. It was great to have a separate bedroom area and an 11” pillow top sealy beauty rest. Having a very large living area with dinette and dual recliners and tons of cabinets. But what that all really meant was more junk to carry around every time and for non-full timers, simply too much stuff. We had a front kitchen and have been putting over a thousand pounds on a 1/2ton pickup. Sure it can handle it and I could still put another 200lbs of gear in bed, but then I’m done. So looking forward to picking this unit up and then getting over to the cat scales for an unloaded weight to compare and then safely reload the unit and reweigh again after loading it. Thanks for the welcomes .

We have had our Flagstaff 27 RLWS since 2013 and love the trailer. We have pulled it about 30,000 miles. It has been up the ALCAN, and east to see the trees turn, through Colorado, New Mexico, all the western states, and now winters in the Phoenix area. A few problems that I have fixed, but it has been very reliable. Congratulations on you new Flagstaff.

Welcome! We have the same trailer and love it. Like you said, it forces you to bring what you need and not necessarily what you want to bring.
We've been tent campers so the transition wasn't too hard for us, we really wanted the smaller trailer for getting in to some of the smaller camping spots.
We're currently customizing and trying to refine our storage areas. Microwave will be coming out over the winter to create more cabinet space

Not sure if I can give up microwave. Not sure of the oven in mine yet. But hey, first time using at campsite tonight.
