Just a peek at our 21DS set up

5/23/16: I'm quite sure, as we stop off at other parts of the country, the decor and decorations will fluctuate.

From bottom left, going clockwise around the room:

A small table fan from Walmart, for those in between times when the AC is a bit too loud and too much.

A requisite plastic bag holder (Walmart)

A small dish drainer (Walmart)

Spoon/hot mitt holder and knife/spice magnetic holder (Target)

USA map. Cork and push pins to follow. (Goodwill 50-cents)

Dog beds

Garbage can (Walmart)

Chalk message board (Goodwill)

Painted storage box (Goodwill $15.37)

Magazine holder/basket (Goodwill)

Metal French Press (Amazon)

Condiment/misc basket (Uganda)

Fruit/misc bowls, set of three (Target)

Hanging star (Uganda)

Our TT is a Forest River Flagstaff Micro Lite 21DS (we're sitting on the couch/Murphy bed).

Looks great! Are those the original cushions on the dinette? I'm contemplating swapping ours for something more comfortable.

Yes they are.

As time goes by, we may think about swapping out the cushions on the dinette.

Another "issue" is how much the couch cushions sink in during the day. Maybe if I didn't sit around so much during the day if wouldn't be a problem. LOL

We have the same model. I have added hooks everywhere for hanging keys, hats, dog leashes... Weather station with outside temp. Extra towel bars. Broom and mop hangers. Large hooks on bathroom door. Oxygenics shiwer head. Puck lights at the head of the Murphy bed. Blue courtesy light inside main door to light the entry.

I love my 2014 21DS...only complaint is the small bathroom and shower curtain issue. I put a large piece of carpet down that covers the main floor. Folds up when the slide comes in. Also built adjustable shelves into the back storage closet next to the fridge. That helped a lot.

They seem to keep moving the water heater around every year. We only have one tall pantry cupboard to the right of the fridge. Over the dinette I knocked out the 2 blank panels because it was hard to see what is back there. I replaced them with 9" mirrors from Dollar Tree. Epoxied tiny brass hinges at the top and small super magnets at the bottom that mate to flat head screws.

Love the decor. Great colors! So many campers are just brown and boring. I an trying to brighten the farm interior of our Windjammer.

My 21 DSDoes.. The switch is located just under the right propane tank ( standing in front of the tongue) in front of the battery.

We noticed our sofa was sagging, particularly the front center. It was resting on the drawer front and would drop about 1 1/2 inch when the drawer slid out. I found the front of the frame is bent downward! I am currently looking for a 63" piece of 1" heavy wall box tubing to span the opening and support the sofa. I also need to figure out how to remove the downward bend in the frame. I haven't determined yet if the frame at the back of the seat cushion is also bent. If I am not successful in shoring this thing up I might pull it out and replace it with a 72" long futon from WalMart.

I was able to straighten the front frame by supporting the center with a jack and bouncing my full weight on each end in turn. I cut. 63" piece of 1" square tubing and it fit into existing brackets as if this was what was intended. I drilled through holes in the ends and fastened with small sheet metal screws. Finished with thick stick on felt pads at contact points. Feels solid. Hope it holds up under our combined weight 🙄Click image for larger version
