Lazy Boy recliner option
Wife and I examined 2 new Flagstaff units, a 832IKBS and a 831RKSS. Both of these units had the optional Lazy Boy recliners. We very greatly disappointed in their functionality. They only reclined a couple inches backwards and the footrest seemed "limp" leaving our legs angled downward. Kinda lame for almost a $1200 option. Has anyone discovered the same results with these chairs? They were very comfortable just to sit upon but very disappointing as recliners. Wondered if both sets that we tried had been abused by dealer lot visitors or is this the norm? Hate to spend $35 to $40K on a new trailer and then more $$$ to replace the recliners. Any real experiences on this subject are welcomed.

Our 8529IKBS came with the Lazy Boys.
Once you pull the lever, take both hands and push back on the armrests, pushing the chair back. You can recline to a point where you are almost laying down.
We love ours!

We had them . . .
. . . in our 2014 Flagstaff 832IKBS, and we loved them. Very comfortable, and when pulled from wall, they recline like any recliner. And, they were solidly built. No issues whatsoever. Hope this helps.

What is the width of your "real" lazy boy recliners?

I have a 832IKBS with the recliners. They are very comfortable and as was stated earlier. You move the lever to recline and then push back with both hands on the rests. You can literally almost lay flat. I like them. Time will tell if they hold up.
YMMV

Ours came with the Pinnacle model Laz Boy recliners. You need to move it away from the wall and push/rock back a little while pulling the lever. This puts the leg rest up higher when you open the chair. I also attached furniture movers on the bottom base to make them easier to move out and stow for towing. They are very comfortable for us but each of us have our own fit.

We have the LB recliners and love them. They have a small pull on side to open then push back with arms to lay back. Seem to be well made and are very comfy. Also LB jack knife sofa/sleeper.

Measure your RV recliner and then go to the Lazy boy with your tape measure to find one that fits. The Lazy boys come in many different sizes so you should find one to fit your RV.

We like the lazy boy recliners that came in the windjammer a little better than the ones we bought for the house! When we had unexpected overnight company last summer while camping, we used the recliners as extra beds. They laid flat and were comfy.

Getting many positive comments so far. Must have been a "user error" on our behalf. We are 200 miles away from the dealership or I would take a closer look. Can anyone measure the width and depth of their Lazy Boys. Not sure of the allocated spacing for the Lazy Boys in the rear of a 832IKBS or 8329SS. Thanks

We replaced the European recliner in our 2011 Georgetown with a Lazy Boy we bought at the International rally last August. I added a cross brace with a hole in it to the feet to allow attaching it to the floor with FR's supplied knob with bolt.
Ours has worked without issues since it was installed.

lazy boys are great
our 2014 Flagstaff 832IKBS lazyboys are really nice. Yeah - they're not wall huggers. We use the space behind them (pulled out to recline) for 2 large coolers for storage. It keeps them away from the window shades. The fifth wheel model has recliners that swivel also.
