Micro Lite 25BDS Slide adjustment(s)

My 25BDS has what I assume is a Lippert slide (NOT a Schwintek anyway) and when I retract it, the top doesn't appear to come fully in so the trim is against the side of the TT.

When retracting the bottom raises slightly at the inside edge and when the bottom stops sliding the top continues for a small amount of movement.

When I look at the trim/seal area outside it appears that the top is visibly away from the side while the bottom of the side trim is snug.

At first I thought I was over-retracting when I did so until a ratcheting sound occured. I tried stopping just before that but then the lower part is away from the side and the top even more.

I see two adjustment screws at the end of the geared "Racks" that move the slide in and out. Can this "issue" be corrected by adjusting here?

Anyone???
