Also driving in a lot of rain over the years can cause the corrosion. Later RJD

That's typical 2 wire automotive wire.
Looks like yellow and white.
There's green and white 2 wire under it.

It’s a circuit breaker, and it appears that there’s been many hands on that trailer over the years. Green wires are supposed to be grounds, and therefore should not ever be connected to a circuit breaker.

replace it with a solid state poly-fuse. they are circuit breakers that latch until the source power is disconnected and then they self reset.
also due to being solid state they have a much lower internal resistance and as a result can reduce your draw on that circuit.

I cover my battery terminals with axle grease or Vaseline. Keeps most of the corrosion in check. Of course, I live in the Southwest, where it would take 30 years to get that corroded.

I used battery terminal grease on mine. Stops the corrosion and protects from water.

The "lamp cord" looking wires look like my electric brake wires.

Thermal resetting Circuit breaker
Can be found in auto parts stores. It looks corroded and pretty bad. can be replaced with a similar unit or waterproof manually resettable circuit breaker.

As suggested by Tom, go with something designed for marine use. I got a couple of Tom's recommended for my boat that stay wet.
One that looks like your old one but designed for marine use has SS nuts, less likely to rust, and costs a few dollars more. I bought a few of these for places that get damp.
None of these (Tom's or mine) are auto-reset, although they are available.

I would use a terminal block and not the Circuit breaker as a block or bus. If one circuit has a fault everything will go off. Individual fused circuits would be best in my view.

Maybe one of them might help clean up that junction...

Rusted Breaker
I had a travel trailer that was always needing replacement breakers, I had enough of it.
So I threw this together, end of replacements.

The green and green and white wires on my last R/V were electric trailer brakes.
Not every R/V is built the same. I've had a myriad of colors of wires over the years. The factory uses whatever they can get their hands on at the moment. If they run out of a color, they simply substitute something else.
