New E-Pro E19RD Owner

Hi All,

I'm taking delivery of a 2021 E-Pro R19RD at the end of this month. It will be my first camper and I'm definitely looking forward to it. Any good beginner info that anyone can point me at will be welcome. I'm going to be pulling it with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee with the V6 and tow package as well as a 6,000lb Fastway WD hitch.

I'm curious about something I've seen on the Forest River site. It shows the E19RD as DSO. Does this mean that the E19RD is going to be discontinued after 2021? I haven't been able to find anything that says for sure one way or another.

Congrats, I have a 19FD. The geo and e pros are the same. I have the Fastway e2 as well, but 800lb bars, as my tongue weight is very heavy with bicycles and 2 golf cart batts.

Congrats and first time owner as well way back in May with four hauls under my belt so far.

Is that a Cherokee or Grand Cherokee? The former with V6 would be 4,500 lb. towing and 450 lb. tongue weight capacities. The E-Pro specs show a 436 lb. tongue weight. You need to be careful with that tongue weight. I have a G16BH speced at 486 lb. tongue weight and have gotten up to 710lb. My V8 Grand Cherokee max is 720 lb. I would get yourself a tongue scale to help you with loading.

The Dealer Stock Only (DSO) would be that they are phasing out the model.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Enjoy your 2021 E-Pro R19RD. Make sure you do a thorough DPI before you sign anything. There's a PDI checklist under the Library tab above you can print and take with you.
