I just took delivery on a 2018 Flagstaff and found all but two connections to the antenna loose. The loose ones's were several turns from tight with two (one on TV and one on amp) were only connected by one or two threads.
In my case I had to remove the stereo to get to the connections on the back of the amplifier switch and splitter (for the outside connection).
The Amp is in the antenna itself and loose connections between it and the switch can cause reduced power to the amp. Connections should be TIGHT. Tight enough you can't just disconnect with finger tips.
In my case it improved the number of stations I could "see".
