Has anyone had problems with the stick on wood face on the kitchen sink?
we just bought this unit 2 weeks ago and on the second trip out we noticed that the face of the sink cabinet is just a stick on wood look contact paper and it is peeling off around the one drawer
We were led to believe the cabinets were solid cherry fronts and door faces.
Now we see just how they are made.
Going to talk to the dealer or call FR and see what can be done.
These are nice units but am not happy about this issue

I haven't had any problems (so far) with peeling contact paper/veneer/whatever it is. I have torn apart the TV/stereo column and it is definitely some kind of covered fiberboard. I believe only the doors and drawer fronts are wood.

As to remedies, I think I'd try my luck with the dealer first. I contacted FR last week about a warranty issue and have yet to receive a reply.

I have called FR several times and often got right through to the rep. Keep calling but don't wait for a call back. If you could imagine, folks are busy dealing with so many concerns.
