Outside table

Just sharing an add-on I just did. We got the 2022 25FKBS a few months ago. It had one outside table, not sure if it was supposed to come with two, but we have two spots to put tables. Since we'll be boondocking a lot and outside a lot, thought I'd make another table. It's a little bigger than the stock one.

Our unit also didn't come with the Blackstone grill, by the way, so either going to get one of those or for now just set up a Coleman grill we have.

Got the bracket from Amazon, and used some 5/8" particle board I already had.

Will put some more coats of paint on it. The particle board soaks up a lot of paint.

Nice job. Here's mine. The factory table hangs too high for my coffee maker, so I needed to make something to hang lower from that rail. I probably bought the same rail piece on Amazon that you did.

Thanks. And that's a nice table. You're right, they are a little high.

Might have to make another one.

Looks great. What was the bracket called that fits the channel on the side of the trailer on Amazon?

Here's a link to the one I bought. It includes the male & female pieces. The female piece fits the rail on the r-pod perfectly, but the male piece doesn't fit the track that's on the back of the factory shelf (I thought I might re-use the factory shelf somewhere else but that's not possible with this set).

If you are planning to put that blackstone grill on that (hope that you arent) those things put off a TON of heat from the back. Would hate to see anyone damge their unit with it.

Looks like he has another rail mounted on the other side of the door for hanging the grill.

I agree! I would not put a grill on a table or shelf attached to our TT.

I always put the grill on a picnic table at the campsite, or on our portable table, away from the TT and awning.

Yes, I wasn't going to put a stove on a table attached to the RV. I was just mentioning the grill as a side point. We'll have a regular table for that.

The grill/griddle that came with the r-pod included a hanger bracket for that rail system that holds the grill well away from the RV wall. And that's where the external propane jack is mounted. Seems safe enough...

It's not so much the heat from a griddle, it's the grease. One batch of bacon took hours of cleaning.
