Parking MicroLite 23LB On Wet Grass. Rust Issues??

Hi. I moved my camper from my driveway to my back yard. So it's parked on the grass. Is this going to cause me rust issues?? The tires are on leveling blocks. It's been there since December and may be there until ??? March?? The ground is very soft due to we've had a ton of rain. Most every day. The ground is pretty sloped where it's sitting. You might notice in the pic that she's leaning quite a bit to the left side. (as seen from the tow vehicle drivers' seat).

Are your levelers sinking? If you're sinking, then you're probably going to have problems. A little sinking probably won't be a problem, but if it gets too deep, you're going to have problems getting it out.

Thank you. No it's not sinking. I had a helluva time getting it in there due to the soggy ground. But thanks to my son, we got 'er done.
Anyway, I'm thinking more about rust. Will parking it on the grass and the ground being wet cause the underbelly to rust???

Sorry. Need to put on my glasses today.
I can't see why it would cause rust problems. Your underbelly should be sealed and these things are made to be used outside. It's possible you might have rust on the axels if you've driven over roads that used salt to get rid of snow, but that's highly unlikely.
I would suggest you get some DampRid to put inside the trailer to absorb any moisture that seeps in.

Thank you. You don't need your glasses. I modified the post to make my request clearer. I did put some DampRid in it, anti-freeze in the drains, I put an electric oil heater in it to keep it a bit warm and a little computer cooling fan running to circulate the air. The heater is turned down very low to prevent moisture on the windows. Seems to be working OK.

We're practically neighbors, you in Lk Stevens, me in Marysville.

I have my trailer in my back yard on a pad when it's home. Pad gets just as wet as grass but as long as there is air circulation under trailer any moisture from ground won't bother the undercarriage. My 2018 bought in 2017 has very little rust on the undercarriage and I attribute most to the fact we live in a just plain wet climate. Driving down the highway on a rainy day is more a factor than grass.

My only thought would be get a 8ft 2x10 cut 4 2ft pieces and put stabilizers down. Help support weight and stabilize in wind. Just a suggestion I do that in storage.

I got a new 5'er. ended up getting 4 yrds of small white rock, laid down a huge tarp 20x40. spread the rock over it an then some , to be used as a moisture barrier.

Should be plenty of air flow under that TT - doubt you'll have rust problems from your parking location. The TT is pretty close to that vegetation, however; so you'll want to be extra careful to keep out the field mice/critters.

This may not be an issue if you get it out of there in the spring, but.... When the grass starts growing, be sure to keep it trimmed. If the grass is touching the underbelly, it will prevent adequate air flow to keep the rig dry.
