I just got a 2014 Flagstaff HW27SC. This is where my power cord should be. What do I need to connect this to campsite 30amp power? Sorry for such a newb question!

You need what is called a detachable shore power cord with a 30 amp female twistlock (Nema L5-30R) on one end that connects to the RV, and has a TT-30 male plug on the other end (Nema TT-30P) you plug into the campground pedestal.

It will be something like this. You can't find a cord similar stowed away in a compartment somewhere?

thank you! No, couldn’t find it anywhere... Guessing previous owner took it with him. I didn’t even think to look for it before taking home. Hoping I can find one quick!

Any RV store would have it, but they are probably closed today. I've seen RV cords at Lowes, but maybe not the ones with the twistlock like you have to have.

If you are decent/confident with electricity, you could build your own...but you would have to make sure of the connections and wiring. A store bought one is the easiest and safest way to go.

You might want to take a close look at how well your receptacle is sealed and mounted. It looks like somebody did a “bush fix” on it and didn’t use an OEM receptacle. I would also replace those drywall screws with something non-corrosive now, while you can still remove them.

Great point. I didn't look at the receptacle installation! I just wondered what happened to the cord!

Is there a certain type of screw I should use?

That was sort of treating you dirty! Taking the cord.
I smell rat here. Check out the rv connection well. If we used those screws, I wonder why.
Do not buy the cheapest cord.

It’s always a good thing when people post pictures along with their problems/questions. Not only does it help all of us to give a quicker and more accurate answer/solution, but it can result in catching little things like this that might not be so little.

When you get one, be sure to twist the plug to the right. It's a twist lock.

Stainless steel, take all 4 screws out at once and pull/wiggle the receptacle to see how well it's sealed then put some sealant in the holes before putting the screws in.

X2, but you should really take a close look at how that thing is mounted and if you should just replace the screws or come up with something better.

To touch a bit closer, it looks as it was a quick and not well thought out replacement. A round gasket or flange behind a square receptacle cover? Like the previous installation was a round type, possibly with a pull-out cord which didn't disconnect at the rv.
I should have included in my previous post if it shows any kind of weakness you should remove it, clean any gasket or sealant off then reinstall using new gasket and/or non-sag chalking/sealant.
