Scraped a gas station pump guard/post...

I scraped a gas station pump guard/post...what would be the best way to clean this up?

Thanks in advance.

I would go to acetone dabbed on a rag or rubbing alcohol.

Have you scraped into the plastic fender or is that just paint transfer from the post?
Either way…..Tremclad flat black paint.

Looks like you got lucky. I would find a paint that is good for plastic.

looks like paint transfer, most of it should clean off with alcohol or a low grade thinner. be sure to try in a small area first good luck

Once you get the paint off, if there are any scratches that still bug you, you can use a heat gun to mitigate them. I did this on the plastic trim in my truck where I keep hitting it with my work boots. Low heat and patience make it look like new.
