Screws into walls

I've got a 2021 26fkbs and was wondering what length screws should be used when mounting something to a wall. Are shields necessary for good hold?

Anything else to consider/avoid?

Thanks.

BTW, I live this trailer - I can't think of anything negative at all to say about it.

It depends on what you are mounting to the wall.
Your walls are maybe 2" or so and mostly styrofoam.
We use things to "stick" things to the walls instead of screwing things in.
There are plenty of threads here about how to do this.

Be careful too long of screw may end up showing outside the trailer. The walls are basically panneling. ( about 1/8 inch). The studs are 2" or a little less.

Personally anything much over 1" is too long. I usually use stickons but have used anchors designed for panneling.

Thanks, boss. I like the idea of sticking rather than screwing, too.
