Shower mizer

Hope this post helps others with water pump issues. Leaving the campground my wife informed me that the water pump was not pressurizing the lines. I spent 2 hours trying to get the pump to pressurize the lines, but nothing was working. Then I remembered a post I read concerning the water mizer somehow interfering with the water pump. I checked the valve in the shower and sure enough it was partially open. I closed the shower mizer valve and the water pump immediately pressurized the lines. Hope this helps somebody that finds themselves in a similar situation.

Thanks for the info the shower mizer or water mizer has been the cause of many problems like yours and others having their FW tank fill when on city water.

I don't agree that it is the Shower Miser that causes problems. It is the lack of knowledge and understanding of the system by the owners that causes the problems. It is a valve like any other valve that if not used correctly will cause undesired effects. Like not using WH bypass valves correctly, or outside shower valves being left on.

You are correct most problems are user caused regardless the topic, my reply was not intended to tell the OP they were the problem but rather to thank him for the info.
