Stabilizer Improvement

The rear PSX2 stabilizer under our Flagstaff 26FKBS tends too loosen over a day or two. Previously I would extend them a few turns when the bounce becomes noticeable.

Recently I added a strap between the stabilizer legs. This results in an immediate improvement. While I make the strap tight at installation, after a few days it becomes very taught. I am considering adding a second strap to remove the torque from the struts.

Have not seen any other posts like this for these stabilizers, PSX2 with the dual motors. Only complete motor failure and the end caps tearing. May want to give them a good look over for anything that may be loose.

Just wonder if putting a tall support under the rear stabs would help? I use them with a flat pad on top(most of the time). I also extend them until the they touch and then maybe a half second more. Every once in a while I will get a one time "creak" as the camper settles but that is it.

Very rarely do I need the supports under the front but just depends on site slope. Almost always under the rear.
