Television size

We bought a used 2005 RKS TT. The television was taken out. We are looking to replace it with a new HDTV. Curious as to the size of the original, was it a 19"? Currently we have an old heavy 13".

I don't know what size they were as I opted not to have the factory unit. I bought a 22" LCD that fit perfectly. I had a problem with it and got it replaced with a 26" LCD. The 26" is about 2" too tall to fit under the cabinet above. It works but it doesn't fit under the cabinet so it looks out of place.

i opted to for no factory installed tv so i measured a few lcd flat ones til i found the biggest that would fit, plus it weighs about 4 lbs compared to 60 for the 26 that would go in

I have a 22" Venturer flat panel HDTV that is 12 volt, with surround sound and a sub woofer and AM/FM CD/DVD player from Concertone- also outside speakers, and 2 in bedroom. This TV is fabulous, because the antenna on the roof picks up about 20 CLEAR HD channels! We can watch TV even with no AC power! All this is factory Forest River in my unit.

With not knowing what your entertainment center is like, I made a mod to mine. The TV area in the entertainment center had a deep pocket for a standard 19" TV, I removed the center section of the entertainment center between the upper and lower cabinets and built a special rack to hold a 32" LCD TV. With having a rear lounge as a floor plan, the 32" is great. Pic are posted on the Forum under Mods on an 8314ss.
