Travel with murphy bed down?

I have a microlite 21ds. Is it okay to travel with the murphy bed down?

It's OK if you can do it.

Looking at your floor plan, I'd say your slideout will be in the way. It's in the way on my Mini Lite 2503S.

If you can have the MB down with the slide-out in, of course you can travel with it down, ... there is no harm IF you can do that, ... but in most cases, when our slide-outs are in, we can not let the MB down, ...

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking that in the down position might help with tongue weight and gas mileage. I tow with a 1500 ram. The slide should just barely clear the murphy bed by about an inch or so.

The only concern I'd have is the legs scratching the floor. I've looked at mine and I'm sure they would scuff the floor from any jarring and movement.

Im not thinking a difference on TW or MPG. Still weight and with mine its all still all distributed in the same position.... Forward of the axel. We leave it down to keep from having to remake the bed every night.

that should be an easy fix, ... a rug, ... maybe small squares of carpet under each leg, ... or even attach, staple/glue, a pad of some sort to each foot, ...

Traveled with the bed up and traveled with it down. It doesn't seem to make much difference. Even screwed up one time and traveled with the bed up but I forgot to strap the mattress in place... If you get a chance to do that, pass. It's not fun to wrestle with the mattress and topper with the bed half up and half down.
