TV is weird

We just bought a 2020 26 FKBS RV and love it. But one problem is the TV. I turn it on and it shows ribbons of color, no picture. After awhile it goes away but its very annoying.

Does this happen on OTA signal, cable or DVD?
Most tvs supplied from the factory, are notoriously cheap. Many aren't smart tvs either.

Take a pic of the screen with the ribbons of color and send it to your dealer. Then tell them you want a new tv.

I'm not sure what you are asking us or if you are simply making a statement?

A 2020 model should be under warranty.
Is there a problem with getting it replaced?

Probably not. It should operate like your tv at home.

I've never owned a TV that displayed anything but a proper picture once turned on unless there was something wrong with it. Even back in the old cathode days, once high voltage charged, it showed a picture.

A TV in a R/V is no different than those in your home. How long does it display these ribbons of color before showing a picture?

Take a picture of the screen and contact your dealer for a new TV. This is not normal for any TV I've ever heard of.

In fact if it were me, I'd ask if they had another on the lot. You could remove your TV and take it to them and trade it (the TV, not your trailer!) rather than returning your rig to them and waiting who knows how long for them to do it.
Good Luck!

Likely TV SMPTE color bars. It's displayed when there is no signal or there's a fault.

Do they look like these?: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMPTE_color_bars

Generally, it is an input signal that causes a tv to display odd coloration. That is especially happening to 4K televisions with a less than stellar hdmi cable. In your case, I would say your television needs replaced.
