Waiting Begins Now

After several months of exhausting research, and numerous headaches from information overload, DW and I made a down payment to place a 529RKB on order. We decided to forgo the absolute best price and instead went with a local dealer who has good reviews and seems genuinely insistent upon taking care of customer's rigs both before and after the sale. Time will tell as we all know it isn't a matter of if, but rather when an issue will occur requiring more than a mere handyman's capabilities. "Expected" build date is this upcoming February, so hopefully the timing will indeed work out to our advantage for the beginning of the camping season next year. Wish us luck as this has been a way more nerve racking experience than ever imagined.
Happy camping!
Lee & Edith

That is a big trailer for your 2500 CTD. I have a 2012 version and know I am near my truck ratings with my 2013 Crusader 260 RLD. Not saying the truck won't handle it, but I suspect you will be pushing it on the payload rating of the truck. Enjoy your trailer, it looks like a very nice floorplan to spend time in.

Congrats on the decision... I know I spent hours upon hours going over floor plans, reading about different manufacturers, etc. I ended up with a Flagstaff although for the longest time I thought I was aiming for a Northwood Nash. I'm quite happy with my Flagstaff.

Thanks Tull! If you were like DW and myself, you might have worried about going bonkers trying to make the final decision on your 21DS. Really like your Flagstaff, as it has a way better floor plan and jackknife sofa than our current Wolf Pup. Think you'll get lots of enjoyment out of your rig.

I actually found it quite enjoyable... although drove my wife bonkers!
I still like to watch RV Blogger, Uncle Josh, and others.
