Water coming out of antifreeze inlet.

Water leaking out antifreeze inlet. I have water hooked up to the city water inlet and I have water coming out of the antifreeze inlet.

Have you tried turning the valve to the anti-freeze inlet to make sure it is fully closed?

You most likely have two issues.
1st
Close the winterizing valve on the inlet side of the water pump. Should have two positions ( winterize and normal use)

2nd The check valve in the water pump is not closing properly.
Put some water in the water tank
Shut off city water
open faucet to reduce pressure
Turn on water pump and open faucet and let run for 30 sec
Close faucet and allow water pump to stop.
This should reseat the check valve
Shut off water pump
Turn city water back on.
You should be OK
Don't forget to drain FW tank

The winterizing valve was closed. When we found the leak I turned off the city water. Then later we needed water so I turned the pump on. Then I turned it off and then turned city water back on. No more leak. So it sounds like I inadvertently did what Flybob said to do, and now everything seems ok. Thanks.

Glad you got it fixed. This can happen if the pump is on and city water in on at the same time. The fix usually cures it.

Now I just noticed that my fresh water tank is full. Is that because the valve was stuck?

Yes. That is usually the symptom people see. The city water was bleeding past check valve back into FW tank.

I had the same thing happen to me on an outing last year. I woke up in the morning and saw water coming out of the overflow. I panicked momentarily and did a quick search of this forum and saw what these fine people had done to fix the issue in the past and voila problem solved.

What a group.

Well, it happened again. I was hooked up to city water and the fresh water tank filled up and water coming out of the antifreeze inlet. Is there a permanent fix. Replace the valve? Where is the valve? When this happens somehow water is getting in the bedroom floor.

Do you have the water pump on when using the FW tank
