Who put these "couches" together! Flagstaff Epro
Does anyone recognize the head on these apparently countersunk with locktite completely unnecessary security screws?
The couch is garbage but the framework and hardware useful but short of a sledge I can't break it down and I don't want to bend the hardware.

That looks like a Robertson headed screw frequently used in Canada. Should be available at Home Depot, Lowes

Ok, from this photo my guess is "hybrid" Robertson. Opinion?

that screw is mainly what is used to put trailers together. it is a Robertson head. keep a screwdriver/bit in your camper to fix things along the way. you *can* use a square head bit in a pinch, but they tend to cam out and dont fit the head as well.
the robertson head screws have a very slight taper to them that the square do not.

The screw on the left in your original photo is a hybrid.
Either a #2 Phillips bit or a Robertson (square) bit will remove it.
The Phillips bit may strip out if it is really tight.
The screw on the right in your original photo is a Robertson (square) only.
They are not 'security' screws and have been very commonly used (not only in the R/V industry) for years.

The Robertson screw driver (sometimes referred as a square head screw driver) and the screws were developed by a "Mr. Robertson" here in Canada and were later copied and distributed in the USA as such. They are a look a like but totally different---originals were copy righted!!!. The Canadian bit will NOT fit the American screw properly---will strip AND vice versa!!! Found out the hard way----bought a big box of them one year in the US to build a deck back in Canada.....Had to wait until the following year to get the proper bit in the US.....

Mine were all regular square drive heads. Nothing special. Theywork great and seldom strip.

Once you get the right bit (#2) you will love them. Easier to install/remove than a Phillips.

Any information about reupholstering the couch. Can it be removed thru the door, or does the work need to be done in the RV. I just bought from a neighbor, 2014 FR Scottsdale 26 ft super lite. Thanks

FR doesn't have a brand called "Scottsdale". Do you mean Flagstaff or Rockwood?
Also the model number is more helpful than how long it is. Some brands have a number of different models that are 26ft long.
