WiFi Ranger antenna

Went up on the roof of our Flagstaff fifth wheel yesterday to check things out as I always do after a summer of use, looking for possible issues. When I got to the Ranger antenna I noticed it was out of it's mount, on it's side. That obviously left about a one inch hole wide open on the mount itself.

Do not know how long it was like that, but obviously not a good thing. After re-installing it (antenna) I looked for clues as to why it came out....found none. I don't THINK I hit any trees. Just a heads up for those with these things.

You might not have hit anything it may have been dislodged by the strong blast of wind for a truck coming in the other direction and the antenna may not have been installed security in the first place. good you found it before water damage happened might warrant going up on the roof more often.

Unlikely it was hit by anything as it is somewhat protected from that by the TV antenna. I had looked it over in the past (the Flagstaff is a 2019) and it appeared to be installed correctly. As it gets older with more exposure to the elements.....is it going to be prone to 'pop'?

I will be keeping a close eye on it from now on.
