We are new campers, we know nothing about campers, that being said, we camped over the weekend, our fridge worked all the way down but once there, it just quit, we have no idea why, the camper is in great shape and we've never had any problems with the fridge before. While at the site, the camper was not level, after reading the manual we found out that this could be the problem, but it's been level for the last few hours and it still won't work, we don't even know where the breakers are in the unit, help!

Welcome to the forum!

The fridge worked while in transit it...would have been operating on propane. Are you trying to operate it at the campsite on propane or electric? Do you have the fridge set on auto? There should be a breaker marker fridge in the campers power control panel.

Check to see if the stove will light to ensure that you have propane.

You should switch the fridge controls to gas from auto and get it running on propanes again 'til the electric side is sorted out.

I've attached a picture... the power control panel in the photo is right below the fridge. The top section folds down with the 120V breakers on one side and the 12V fuses on the other. There should be a 120V breaker marker for the fridge.

It may take a couple of hours for it get cold again. You should check inside the fridge access panel outside and verify that the propane side is working. There should be a small, pilot-sized flame inside a sheet metal cylinder. I'll have to see if I can find a photo.

Here's a link to the operating manual from Dometic's site that may be helpful for troubleshooting...
