I have a 2011 Rockwood Ultralite 2601S, I need to put a 150lb. generator and a couple of full 5 gallon gas containers, how much weight do you think my bumper will hold?

Your bumper is made to carry no more weight than what your spare tire and the bracket weigh. You can't add anything else without the risk of it falling off.

You might want to look at this thread:

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...eel-82307.html

Someone had mounted a heavy class 3 hitch I removed to lessen some weight. I also removed the spare tire carrier. When I spoke to FR they were concerned about weight and vibration. You want to make sure your mount is welded solid. Most spare tire carriers bounce all over because they are poorly mounted to the bumper. If you have one concider removing it and just toss the spare in your truck.

I also placed a rubber mat between the generator and the mounting plate. This should remove any vibration when the generator is strapped tight to the mounting plate when going down the road. I loosen the straps when running the generator so the rubber mat should remove most if not all vibration from running it.
