04/20/2017: Delivered my 2016 Ultra Lite to the dealer for roof replacement and noticed that the nose cap finish is starting to peal. Asked the Warranty manager how to repair and was told that the Entire unit has to be shipped back to FR for repairs and that it will take about 4-6 weeks.
Is this normal??? And does it sound logical to ship the unit back to FR?
Frustrated and starting to believe I've made a poor choice in RV's.
Sorry to hear about this. IMO I think it would be best to have it sent back to Forest River as they will fix in properly (at least hope they do). It very unfortunate that it will take 4-6 weeks to get it back. Better now than later as you will still have the summer to camp. Best of luck.
