2016 Rockwood MiniLite 2104S

Wife and I are new to camping. We did not want a TT as long as a tractor trailer even though some of our friends said you would have buyers remorse if you bought anything smaller. We bit the bullet anyway and purchased a 2016 Rockwood Mini Lite 2104s with the murphy bed, electric awnings, power stabilizer jacks, power tongue jack and a few other extras. We could not be happier. Our Dodge Ram 1500, 5.7 Hemi pulls it with no problems. We stayed at a local camp ground for two days to break it in. Had difficulty sleeping since we are accustomed to sleeping in our bed at home but hopefully that will pass. We are leaving on a trip from Arkansas to Virginia Beach for ten days and will really get to know our new TT. Still learning from the forum on what we should pack (clothes, tools, food, etc) and potential concerns on the durability of our TT. More info to follow upon our return. GREAT FORUM

Daniel - I have the same bed as you, only in the 2306 unit. I HIGHLY recommend getting a mattress topper. We actually started with a cheap foam "egg-crate" type. It wasn't good enough. We then bought the memory foam 4" topper and it's great.

Agree with 53flattie. We use a 4" memory foam type topper. Its just like being at home. Didn't realize the new models have power stabilizer jacks. Now Im jealous. I have everything I want, except for that. Oh well, the drill works pretty good

Thanks, I'll check one of the 4" memory foam toppers at Wally World before we depart on our trip.

Glad you're happy with your 2104S. We have a 2015 with the walk around bed. We're in day 28 of a x-country trip from Pittsburgh to Portland to California and back to PA. We love our rig and have had no problems so far. Knock on wood. We are in the Redwoods right now and will be heading to Sequoia Sunday. Good luck and safe travels.

Smile 2104s murphy bed topper

You may want to reconsider the 4" topper because of the weight. We bought a 4" and did not use it because of the weight. You have to fold the bed up and all that weight is going want to slide down. We are using a 3" egg crate style and it is much lighter. And it helps the feel of the bed a lot.

2015 Flagstaff 21 DS

In july we bought the twin of your trailer...Flagstaff 21 DS. We have a memory foam topper. Lifting the Murphy bed is no problem with topper, comforter and 4 pillows.
I added 2 stick on LED reading lights to the wall at the head of the bed and a screen door guard (2dogs). No other mods yet besides over the door towel hooks. We have camped 3 nights at Tahoe KOA with full hookups and 2 nights Boonie camping at Pinecrest, CA. So far all systems work great. Dealer added a second battery at no charge. Still had 2/3 charge after 2 days and nights.

We have the 25DS Flagstaff. We almost purchased the 21Ds but the separate couch and dining table were the deciding factors for us. I totally agree with having the 4" topper on the mattress. It is a must. I do not use the heated mattress then but have an electric blanket from 35 years (wedding gift) and that works great! 2nd season with this TT and love it!

No Murphy bed in our 2109s mini, but have sleep mats from tent camping. About 1 and1/2 inch memory foam on top of a 2 inch adjustable air bladder all self contained that we place on top of the oem mattress. Select comfort so to speak.
