2017 Rockwood mini lite 2504s corner seam

New to the forums, thanks for all the good info. I did some searching but didn't find a common topic for this specific item.

Currently on a two week journey out west (from alabama). As we arrived in Arkansas for the night i noticed my rear corner seam looked strange. Got up on the roof and found what looked to be the cover piece over the roof to wall seam (hard to explain but the strip that is put down over the roof/wall and strewed through it). The screw cover looked like it was coming off and it was. But it looked like it was long and had been stuffed under it??? i was on the road and knew any long repair was out of the question so i shoved it back in the farthest it would go and put some eternabond tape over it. So far no rain but i noticed as we pulled into colorado on our swing back home today that it looks like it is coming loose again. i'm not even really sure what to call it, or how to fix it. I hate to take it in but i may have to, got a guy in town that is getting good reviews on repairs. I've attached a picture of both back top corners, one good and one with the tape over it.

Anyone ever seen this before?
