2018 vs 2019 changes - mini/micro lite?

I've browsed a bit and tried search but can't find a list of changes from 2018 to 2019 models of Micro/Mini Lites. Can someone summarize it for me? I think the foot rest in the couch for Murphy bed models is 2019?

I know the changes probably are not significant compared to the 2018 front end change, but having more knowledge is helpful when shopping.

Thanks

I can only speak to the Mini Lite 2509s, not sure about other models. The 3 changes from early 2018 to 2019 are the window front end, the metal battery box on the front end, and the new foot rests and small arm rest tables on the couch. We have a 2019, and I really like all the changes. I believe all models now come with the wifi ranger installed as well.

Having gotten a response directly from Forest River, I'll answer my own question for the benefit of others.

(Edited by combining excerpts of multiple emails in a conversation. The summary accurately reflects the information provided. Emphasis added.)
"The current 2019 models do not have any different options or features than the 2018 models did. In March of every year, we begin labeling units as the next model year but no changes were made to do that. We then introduce actual model changes in mid-summer of that year.

... The foot rests were a rolling , mid-year change that our furniture vendor made. It wasn’t related to model years at all.

Every year the furniture colors change and the exterior graphics change.

The changes for this coming year are really just that. We are changing interior fabrics, woods and exterior graphics. There really are not any feature changes that I can think of that will be added."

So conceivably, two same model year models could have different features. That's just dumb!

Yes. But that's how it is. We must deal with it.

Been like that for years and nearly all RV manufacturers.

Is there a build date put on trailers? At least that might be one way to know.

Our 2018 Mini Lite 2509S has the front window (a beautiful addition!); the 2 swivel TV trays on the couch arm; and the pop up foot rest (like a recliner). We have a metal battery tray in front, but not a box.

Yes. Look on the white sticker on the street side.

See mine below. Upper right from the red oval, just under the RLD number. 4/7/2015.

TJ,
A quick question. Do the footrests on your sofa lock when extended?
We are picking up our new Flagstaff 25BDS with the same sofa and it seems as if the footrests just "float".
Am I missing something?
Thanks.

If they're like mine (2019 2507S), they don't really "lock" open (into place) but kind of act like a cam. They hold pretty solidly and you have to, for lack of a better term, kick them to get them to fold back down.

We have a 2018 2509S Mini Lite with that sofa and the foot rests lock in the open position. Sometimes I have to fiddle with it to stay open.

Well stated Rsteph. I wouldn't say they actually "lock" either, but they are very solid. It takes a bit of force to push ours down.
