Ha yeah, that was my answer too .

One thing to note for anyone doing this, on the first side I drilled for the upper vent I measured down 2" from the ceiling and barely got into the cabinet support framing that's attached to the ceiling, on the other side I dropped down to 2-1/4" and cleared it fine.

Question: is the fresh water tank in front or behind the trailer axles?

We've had a problem with condensation on the front window in colder weather. Have you had that problem (and/or solution)? Often thought of putting a real small fan to blow across it or something. Those vents are placed ideally, low speed PC cabinet fan or something, hidden inside. Would help with air flow in the cabinets too.

Is the ceiling solid Styrofoam or how did you fish the wires to the switch? I have the light but wanted to know what to expect.

There are channels for wire in places, but not for this one. I took some bare 10 ga. copper wire and cut the end at an angle to make a point and pushed it from the light to the control panel. Taking the microwave out helped with work space. Took a little while but I finally got through.

If you pull out one of your AC ducts, you can see what the foam is like. Here's a shot from my bathroom duct looking forward towards the bedroom duct, with the AC duct coming in from the right. (I needed to enlarge the AC duct because the factory didn't make it big enough - I wasn't getting a lot of air through the ducts. You can see the foam I cut out laying on the bottom of the duct.)

Reworked the solar controller wiring for the fourth time, added a Blue Sea 25A breaker and a new ground post.

I did this because I'm reworking the wiring and replacing the two Trojan T-105 6V batteries up on the tongue with one Battle Born 100AH Lithium battery that will be mounted in the lower cabinet next to the converter in the back of the trailer.

I built a new control panel for the battery that has a Blue Sea 300A master disconnect switch, 100A main breaker and a 25A breaker for the solar controller. I am going to use the 1/0 power wire previously installed to connect the solar controller to the breaker in the back.

The lockable aluminum battery box up on the tongue is going to be used to store our Andersen levelers, wheel chocks and X-chocks. We are going to instantly reduce the tongue weight by 125 lbs once the batteries are removed.

I removed the false panel from the rear cabinet, cleaned up the mess of wiring for the side marker and brake light, insulated the back wall with 1" foam board and covered the large hole in the side wall with 1/2" foam insulation. The battery will fit perfectly in the cabinet below the new control panel, all new wiring will be 1/0. I'm also moving the Victron shunt to behind the convertor and installing the gauge next to the converter where the Wildkat pendant and CO monitor is.

Once I get the battery I'll fabricate a mount for it to keep it from moving around.

Thanks for the update! Removing 2x105's from the hitch will remove quite a bit of hitch weight as will putting the 31lbs LiFePO all the way in the back. Are you keeping the stock Rockwood converter to charge the LiFePO? I'm trying to figure out if it is lithium ready.

Also, how are you going to get 12V power to the breakaway switch?

Nope, I already installed a Wildkat 4655L convertor from Best Converters a few pages back, all I have to do is move the jumper over to the Lithium setting and we're good to go.

I am feeding from a power post up at the solar controller (via the new 1/0 I already installed from front to back) to the from factory disconnect switch, landing the existing 4AWG onto the same post as the jack and break-away controller. If I do ever need to kill the power to them I can turn off the new 25A breaker in the back.

I'm removing the shunt from up front and replacing it with a Blue Sea double post post (+/-).

Awesome sauce! You should be able to get some serious amps flowing into the lithium battery being right next to it. And 1/0 for solar wiring is fantastic.

I think we are going to order a 2019S and have it include the 190W roof solar option. I wonder if that will have proper wiring to the converter. I assume yours has the roof ready solar wiring, any idea what wire they use to the converter from the roof?

I've heard that the solar prep wiring is 8 AWG from the roof, but have not confirmed that. As long as it's at least 10 AWG and you're running PV panels in series with a MPPT controller you should be good.

Just one Battle Born 100AH battery initially.

I can remove some of the paneling between the cabinet and convertor and squeeze a second one in if we ever decide to, but for our usage a single battery should serve
us well.
