2022 Rockwood Changes

Anyone have intel to confirmed changes/updates for 2022 models? Signature, Ultra Lite and other model lines of Rockwood/Flagstaff. So far I’ve only seen one video, shared by another forum member, covering Mini Lite.

If I were you, I would reach out to the Contact Us for Rockwood on the Forest River website.

Was hoping someone has already done that and could share details. I’m sure they get messages on the daily with the same “2022 question”. However, if Rockwood happens to be reading this…my suggestions for future changes would be:

-consolidate the 5th wheel lineup into one, and offer the “Signature” as an optional trim package to any 5th wheel floorplan (kind of like the Diamond Package of the past). I would have paid extra just to get the high gloss fiberglass exterior. This trim package should also include (from existing signature upgrades) more distinction from the standard line with: upgraded range and microwave, under-mount bathroom sink, dimmable lighting in select areas, whisper duct a/c, 10 gallon water heater, 40 lb propane tanks, full wood panel cabinet doors vs the glass inserts, trimmed out window frames, and carpet-less slides with marine woven flooring
-heavier axles - I would prefer to see a 6k lb axle option on all fifth wheel models over 30ft
-5th wheel hitch options. Since the Turning Point hitch frame attachment plate is unique, it’s difficult to swap out to a different hitch afterwards. A few factory options would be nice
-optional diamond plate rock guard on front lower fiberglass to protect while towing
-larger fresh water tank…75 gallons should be a minimum
-optional upgrade to a tow-ready rear receiver hitch and wiring

Big list I know, but I feel Rockwood needs to target a bit of the higher-end market with their 5th wheels, and a few tweaks in options/design with an optional package could accomplish it. Also, just call it Rockwood Signature…scrap the Lite reference

According to a guy at Rockwood the 2022 build sheets should be at the dealers within a week. It will take at least a month to update the website. I have had a 2608 on order since February. Ordered a 2021 with most upgrades and now getting a 2022. I would like to know if there is anything I need or would like to add as an option if needed on the new model.

^^^great! Thanks for sharing, this is what I was looking for. I seen an Instagram video clip this morning on the new graphics…basically raised letters with the RW being in gold. I think it looks awesome, but hopefully the gold won’t fade out in the sun after a couple years.

Maybe we’ll see carpet-less slides mid year 2022…

2022 updates preview

Josh @ Haylett just posted his 2022 updates preview video, as well. It confirms the list above.

Product page for Ultra Lite’s is updated. A few changes…

https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/fifth...gionSelected=1

Wonder what build date they officially switched to 2022? I would assume everything after their factory shutdown/week off, so starting July 12th is 2022’s??
