We just stepped down from a Solitude fifth wheel. Briefly with a signature 8263mbr, and then traded that in quickly for a 8291rk 5th wheel. Nothing wrong with the 8263--long story--it towed great and only had a few minor issues missed in the PDI. But we unexpectedly sold the Solitude rather than wait for needed repairs. Decided to be a little less invested this time around (13th!!!). The Signature gets you a few extra things such as high gloss gelcoat and fancier cabinets. There is a lot of value here in these products. I was surprised at all the little stuff that they just include, like the entry door shade, courtesy and accent lighting, full LED in and out and real day/night shades for the windows, and a tire monitoring system for the real Goodyear tires. What did we give up? Electric instead of hydraulic leveling, cabinetry while it looks nice, is not hardwood, and a bit less insulation. This unit seems to be built fairly well, again only a few minor issues being handled by the dealer. We are very happy with our trailer, and have no regrets. It tows nice and is comfortable in camp.
