2024 2606WS cable connection to tv help

I canít get the outside cable connected to my inside main tv. Am I going to have to remove plates to figure this out? I have a diagram provided with this camper and I should be able to just scan channels but this is not working. Everything else on this little camper has been so simple and easy. Anyone have suggestions?

Do you have the "little green LED" switch (push button) on at the inside cable connection?
Are you in an area where you should be able to receive OTA Channels?

I do have a green led. Push button. We are at a KOA that has cable and would like to take advantage of it.

Oops, I was thinking you wanted OTA TV.
You should be able to tell the TV "cable", then scan. Sometimes the campground will supply you a "box" required for cable TV.
Last resort is to connect a cable to the cable hookup on the pedestal, run the cable thru a window, and made sure you have continuity to the port inside you are connecting the cable to the TV. Or run the cable directly to the TV. That will tell if the RV wiring (cable run) is correct.

Yes. If you are trying to use the CG cable turn of the green LED, that is the OTA antenna booster.

For cable, YES turn it off.
That button is to send power to the OTA antenna. Leaving it on will block any cable signal.
Then go to the tv's settings and do a cable channel scan.

Well I tried that and it didn’t work. We are going to Wally World before dinner and will try to find a short coaxial cable so I can experiment with connections.

Thanks for your help. I am also going to go see what is accessible through the basement. I may find some info that way. This is our second camper and I didn’t bring some of my audio/video stuff with us on this trip. Shortsighted on my part.

Is there an advanced button for the channel search? I had to enter this function to tell the tv to include cable. Hope this makes since

Make sure you don't need to get a cable box from the office. Sometimes you do and that adds another layer of complexity.

The cable/satellite inputs are outside on the drive's side (non camp side) of the trailer. There are two ports not really labeled well. I've notice that the port on the left is usually the cable input and goes to the bottom connector on the plate behind the TV.

As others said you need to go into the settings on you TV and do a scan for channels. Usually something like "cable from wall". In my case I also have an option for analog, digital, or both. CHoose both and let it figure it out.

You might also want to lookup the brand/model of your tv and see what it says. I recently bought a Vizio tv for TT, and all I can select is input, then perform a scan & advanced scan.
